When I was a law student, I used to spend all my time studying in coffee shops. That's what kept me going! Although, I noticed that in Montreal, you only have two types of establishment : Either you go to a big chain coffee shop and the coffee is expensive and terrible, or you go to an independent small coffee shop where the coffee will be great but the space will be so small you you won't feel welcome it you want to stay longer. That plus the fact that they usually close early and don't offer any decent food! That's where the idea of Perko started to grow: a big enough coffee shop, open late, with good wifi and most of all good coffee and good food at reasonnable prices. I decided to stop my carreer as a lawyer and focused on my first true passion : coffee. Come by !
